Abstract
A large number of galaxies have regular magnetic fields described by the dynamo mechanism from the theoretical point of view. The possibility of generating the field and its growth rate can be estimated by solving the eigenvalue problem. In the case of thin disks, the so-called planar approximation can be used, within which eigenvalues can be determined accurately. At the same time, in the case of thick disks, additional terms arise in equations, whose contribution is considered using the perturbation theory.
