Abstract
The adsorption (kinetics and signal stability) of cationic triarylmethane dyes and an acridine derivative with various counterions on citrate-stabilized hydroxylamine-reduced silver solutions has been studied by surface-enhanced Raman scattering spectroscopy. The influence of the synthesis method of the nanoparticles, as well as composition and ionic strength of the medium on the stability of nanoparticle–dye complexes, has been investigated by surface-enhanced Raman scattering spectroscopy.
