摘要
In average torque control system of switched reluctance motor (SRM), the phase currents are shaped to meet specific speed and torque. This should be realized at high efficiency and with low torque ripple over a wide range of operating conditions. In this context, the firing angles, turn-on ($\theta_{on}$), turn-off ($\theta_{off)}$, and accordingly dwell ($\theta_{dwe}$n) angles, should be selected to maximize the performance of the motor at various operating conditions. Practically, optimization is used to determine the firing angles that are suitable for each operating point on the torque speed map. In this regard, many conflicting objectives should be considered when choosing the optimal conduction angles. Among these objectives, reducing the torque ripple and maximizing the torque per ampere are the most important. In this work, the effects of turn-on and turn-off angles on these objectives will be investigated. For this purpose, simulation two SRM converters are considered.
