Sialendoscopic Management and Gland Preservation in an Unusual Case of Extensive Submandibular Sialolithiasis

摘要
Sialolthiasis is one of the most common benign pathologies of the salivary glands. It is associated with frequent bacterial infections and significant discomfort. Large &/or multiple stones are traditionally treated by ductal marsupialisation or gland excision. Sialendoscopy, a relatively new minimally invasive technique is a useful technique whicrbidity. The current report demonstrates the successful use of sialendoscopy in evacuating h can preserve a functioning gland and reduce postoperative mo13 stones from a submandibular gland.
