Abstract
In this work, Ag+ implanted TiO2 with exhibit excellent UV-independent antibacterial activity is prepared. The antibacterial mechanism of Ag+ implanted TiO2 is revealed by investigating the conduction band state and electron transfer process. The present study is an important development in the understanding of antibacterial effect of TiO2 and their application in biomedical field.
