Implementation of FxLMS algorithm on FPGA for Active Vibration Control using MFC Actuators.

This paper presents the implementation of FxLMS algorithm on Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) for active vibration control applications using Macro Fiber Composite (MFC) actuators. Firstly, the basic algorithm process of FxLMS is introduced in detail. Secondly, FxLMS algorithm is disassembled into steps according to the basic algorithm process. Then, the FxLMS algorithm is programmed on the FPGA using the state machine programming idea (state jumping is performed after the state jumping condition is reached, otherwise the state remains unchanged) to perform the operation according to the split steps, and simulated to verify. Finally, the XC7A35TFGG484-2 is adopted as the main control chip, and experimental verification is performed on a piezoelectric cantilever beam vibration active control platform with MFC actuators. After the control signal is applied, the system responds and becomes stable quickly. The experimental results show that the implementation of the FxLMS algorithm based on FPGA can achieve good control effect.
