Abstract
Shallow, CNOT-efficientquantum circuits are crucial for performingaccurate computational chemistry simulations on current noisy quantumhardware. Here, we explore the usefulness of noniterative energy corrections, based on the method of moments of coupled-cluster theory, for acceleratingconvergence toward full configuration interaction. Our preliminarynumerical results relying on iteratively constructed ansa''tzesuggest that chemically accurate energies can be obtained with substantiallymore compact circuits, implying enhanced resilience to gate and decoherencenoise.
