摘要
•The constitutive equations and processing maps of the Mg-Gd-Y-(Sm)-Zr alloys are constructed.•The addition of Sm element can promote the CDRX of the Mg-Gd-Y-Zr alloy at high temperature.•Particle-stimulated nucleation is activated near the Mg5Gd-type phase at lower temperature.•The addition of Sm element can weaken the basal texture of the Mg-Gd-Y-Zr alloy after hot deformation.
