•A retrospective review of robotic ventral hernia repair(RVHR) in patients under antithrombotics.•Clinical outcomes of 830 RVHR were collected and analyzed.•Continued antiplatelet therapy did not impact postoperative outcomes.•Older patients under anticoagulants are at a higher risk of postoperative bleeding.
