Neuromedical Devices: Progress in Brain‐Compatible Interfaces with Soft Nanomaterials (Adv. Mater. 35/2020)
Advanced Materials(2020)
Abstract
Neural interfaces made of soft-nanomaterials are attachable on the brain surface and enable wide-range neural recording, self-powered optogenetic stimulation, and controlled drug delivery in freely moving animals. In article number 1907522, Keon Jae Lee, Daesoo Kim, and co-workers review recent developments in such brain-compatible neural interfaces that use soft nanomaterials more suitable for complex neural circuit analysis and modulation.
