Effect of Rb2CO3 and Cs2CO3 on MgB2 in polycrystalline bulk samples

摘要

•MgB2 bulk samples were synthesized with Rb2CO3 and Cs2CO3 additions.•All the carbon contained in the carbonates is introduced in the MgB2 lattice.•The critical current density is slightly improved for both additives.•The main flux pinning mechanism is similar for both carbonates.
