Abstract
•Ternary NiCo2Al0.02-LDH/N-Cc@PANI electrode have been synthesized.•A novel porous hollow capsule structure of nitrogen-doped carbon is designed and used as a conductive matrix material.•NiCo2Al0.02-LDH/N-Cc@PANI electrode exhibits a fascinating capacitance of up to 1630F/g.•The assembled device could easily power a LED bulb.
