Steerable pyramid with subpixel compensation for remotely measuring and magnifying dynamic vibration of moving objects

•A new framework designed for capturing and analyzing the vibration movement of a moving object.•Applying steerable filters to compensate for subpixel motion.•Experiments results have proven that the new method can improve the SNR of weak vibration signal so that the entire vibration movement of moving object can be measured.
