Abstract
Nowadays, fleet management System(FMS) plays an important role in coal mine production. Compared with opencast coal mines, which have already applied intelligent FMS for over ten years, the intelligent FMS applied in underground coal mines have just been studied, due to the underground environment preventing the dissemination of satellite signal and influencing the performance of the sensor. Encouraged by the development of 5G and Ultra Wide band(UWB) positioning technology, underground fleet management system has achieved significant development in recent years. Considering the problems of insufficient access capacity, low transmission reliability and insufficient transmission bandwidth, we propose a new 5G based architecture for coal mine underground fleet management system. With the help of large bandwidth, low delay, high reliability and wide connection of 5G network, the new architecture can achieve the unified access of various sensors, HD video monitoring and remote centralized control of the trackless rubber tire vehicles in underground coal mine.
