摘要
Since the early years of quantum mechanics, entanglement has attracted much attention. In recognition of the efforts made to verify the properties of entangled photons, the Nobel Prize in Physics of 2022 was awarded to Alain Aspect, John F. Clauser, and Anton Zeilinger, three leading pioneers in the area. However, entanglement is not limited to photons but can also occur among hundreds, millions, and even more particles in condensed matter systems. Moreover, quantum entanglement gives rise to a strong non-classical correlation among particles. It can play an important role in various properties of matter, such as superconductivity and all kinds of magnetic order, which emerge from many-body systems’ highly correlated ground states.
