摘要
Structural covariance networks (SCN) in the brain undergo characteristic changes across the lifespan, with local segregation network properties such as modularity decreasing through adolescence. Variants of age-dependent genes leading to accelerated molecular brain aging may affect typical SCN trajectories. Here, we set out to evaluate the SCN effects of a novel polygenic risk score (PRS-AGE) indexing vulnerability to faster molecular brain aging in young adults.
