Abstract
•We experimentally prepared a 1DPHC with a red-shifted PBG in the near-infrared region.•We observed for the first time that the OTSs are red-shifted and blue-shifted for TM and TE waves with increasing incident angle.•We theoretically explain the polarization-dependent property of the OTS based on the phase analysis.
