•One NIR fluorescent probe DPC-DNBS was developed for dual-detection of N2H4 and H2S.•DPC-DNBS exhibited colorimetric and fluorometric responses to N2H4 and H2S.•DPC-DNBS can be well used for separate imaging N2H4 and H2S in living cells and zebrafish.
