Abstract
Synergistic therapy is considered to be an efficient method for cancer therapy and bacterial elimination with excellent efficacy and high controllability. A new graphene-based nanozyme family member, Hemin-rGO@Au NFs, was synthesized and demonstrated synergistic antibacterial capability. The composite benefits from a high peroxidase-like catalytic activity, excellent photothermal conversion efficiency in the NIR region and fast electron transfer capability. The synthetic procedure of the nanozyme composite is simple but it shows an impressive synergistic antibacterial effect. We expect that these findings will lead to new and wide applications of rGO-Au composites in the biological field.
