Abstract
The sorption properties of manganese (III, IV), the ferrocyanides sorbents to Na+ and K+ in Li salts water solutions have been studied. The sorption properties of the sorbents have been determined under batch and dynamic conditions using Li salts water solutions. The granulated sorbents, based on manganese oxide, obtained via interaction of KMnO4 and H2O2 solution, heated at 500 degrees C, with NaOH or KOH, have the best characteristics. These sorbents are also chemically and mechanically stable for implementing them in the sorption-desorption procedure. The sorption resource of the granulated manganese oxide until the 50% breakthrough of sodium is 60 bed volumes, the potassium is 280 bed volumes. The investigated sorbents can be used in Na+ and K+ ions extraction for obtaining highly purified lithium salts.
