During the journey the required services provided to drivers as network, Embedded Computers and Sensors in vehicles are invisible to them. Vehicular ad-hoc network is the latest ad-hoc Network where in the network, vehicles create mobile nodes. The most important applications of the VANET are active protection and brilliant transport where vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V) communication especially routing technologies is needed and VANET is emplaced on road. The necessary factor is that effects the appraise of routing protocol make use of simulator in any Wireless ad-hoc networks routing protocol using simulator is mobility models. The goal of this paper is to give number of mobility models that beneficial for researchers and more informed choices for their performance evaluations for the use when they are deciding upon mobility models. The existing mobility models for VANETs are STRAW, Probabilistic Traffic Sign Model (PTSM), Traffic Light Mode (TLM)l, Stop Sign Model (SSM), Manhattan and Freeway. The existing tools for VANETs are SUMO, GloMoSim, MOVE, OPNET and CORSIM.
