Abstract
The rapid development of science and technology requires a large number of innovative talents to adapt to economic and social development. Critical thinking is the source of creativity. Cultivating college students' problem consciousness is an important mission of higher education. Since the traditional teaching mode weakens college students' problem consciousness, it is imperative to explore a new teaching mode. Engineering training is an important curriculum for the cultivation of engineering practical ability and quality education. It has rich teaching resources and unique advantages in cultivating students' problem consciousness. Based on the analysis of the current situation, taking turning practice, one of the typical engineering training projects, as an example, this paper discusses the main ways to cultivate college students' problem consciousness in the aspects of problems design, teaching methods and teaching reform.
