摘要

•This was the first time that CoAl-Sal LDH as electrocatalyst for OER at pH 7.1.•The CoAl-Sal LDH shows a more efficient OER catalysis than other LDH-based catalysts.•The intercalation of NaSal in LDH is a method to improve the OER ability of LDHs.
