摘要

Four new zinc complexes with 5-chloro-7-nitro-8-hydroxyquinoline (HClNQ) were prepared as anticancer or antimicrobial agents and fully characterized. [Zn(ClNQ)2(H2O)2] showed the highest cytotoxicity against six tested human cancer cell lines. NH2(CH3)2[Zn(ClNQ)3]·DMF and [Zn(ClNQ)2(H2O)2] inhibited G+ bacteria, [Zn(ClNQ)2(H2O)2] inhibited G- bacteria, too.
