The forecast calls for fistula: Bring your mitigation

As pancreatic surgeons, we are all very aware of how postoperative pancreatic fistula (POPF) is still the most dreadful complication after pancreaticoduodenectomy. Hence, while on the lookout for an early postoperative, dynamic framework for POPF prediction to guide clinical decision-making, we are grateful to Raza et al for providing us their investigation titled “Early postoperative risk stratification in patients with pancreatic fistula after pancreaticoduodenectomy” in this current issue of Surgery.
