摘要
Da.D.O. (Database of Observed Damage) is an IT platform aimed at the Italian and international scientific community to collect, catalogue, and compare data on the structural characteristics and the observed damage of buildings inspected after the most relevant seismic events occurred in Italy from the Friuli 1976 earthquake onwards. The platform was conceived by the Italian Civil Protection Department (ICPD) and realised by Eucentre (European Centre for Training and Research in Earthquake Engineering) in 2017, as a part of a wider project aimed at developing tools to assess the seismic risk and the damage scenario of the Italian building heritage to support civil protection activities. Initially, the Da.D.O. platform was only concerned with ordinary buildings. Then, in 2020 the tool was also extended to churches, thus giving rise to the Da.D.O. Churches section.
