Planning Ginkgo biloba future fruit production areas under climate change: Application of a combinatorial modeling approach

•We used model combinations to predict Gingko fruit production considering habitat suitability.•Different climatic factors were found to affect Ginkgo fruit weight and suitable habitat.•A loss of Ginkgo fruit production areas was predicted to occur under future climates.•We recommend an adaptive management strategy with assisted migration.
