Active fixation lead temporary pacing in patients with right bundle block undergoing transcatheter aortic valve implantation.

•Right bundle branch block confers a high risk of atrioventricular block after TAVI.•Postprocedural back-up temporary pacing is indicated for 24–48 hours.•Active fixation lead temporary pacing could reduce tamponade and lead dislodgement.•Patient comfort and mobility could be improved with this strategy.
