摘要

•Rosuvastatin has been shown to decrease coagulation factors through an unknown mechanism in the STAtin Reduce Thrombophilia.•We investigated if apolipoproteins are associated with statin-related lowering of coagulation.•Rosuvastatin-related decrease in apolipoproteins was associated only with a decrease in FVII and XI.•Rosuvastatin decreases coagulation factors through other mechanisms than via apolipoproteins.
