Abstract
Members of the order Enterobacterales, including , species and species, are important pathogens in healthcare-associated infections. Higher mortality has been reported from infections due to than from , but prior studies comparing (recently renamed ) bacteraemia and complex bacteraemia have yielded conflicting results regarding whether clinical outcomes differ. We found bacteraemia with was independently associated with greater risk of 30-day mortality than bacteraemia with complex.
