摘要
•N-rGO/ZnCo2O4 nanocomposite were successfully synthesised by chemical reflux.•Raman spectra revealed the disorder created in the N-rGO.•Specific capacitance of 1086.1 Fg−1 was estimated to N-rGO/ZnCo2O4.•Power and energy density of 1500 WKg−1 and 21 WhKg−1 was estimated to N-rGO/ZnCo2O4.•N-rGO/ZnCo2O4 //N-rGO asymmetric supercapacitor was fabricated.
