Translation of cavitation bubble near the different walls

•Investigating the interaction between bubble and wall by the method of images.•Complete bubble behavior near the wall is obtained, including soft and impedance walls.•Bubbles can still translate toward some walls which are very close to soft wall.•Direction and magnitude of bubble translation velocity can be changed.
