Texture and properties of a new Fe-Si-P solid solution strengthening high strength electrical steels
Journal of Magnetism and Magnetic Materials(2023)
摘要
In this study solid solution strengthening mechanism was introduced to increase the mechanical and magnetic properties of non-oriented silicon steel. Compared with the P-free steel, the annealed texture of 0.1P-containing steel whose gamma orientation was almost completely eliminated consisted of strong eta-fiber, near-Cube, and near-Goss orientation grains. The texture factor was increased from 1.25 to 4.27. Therefore, the magnetic properties of 0.1P steel was significantly improved and B50 and P10/400 were optimized to 1.712 T and 22.92 W/kg, respectively. When the frequency was 400 Hz, in the 0.1P steel core loss decrease was mainly because of hysteresis loss, which decreased by 38.6 %, and eddy current loss also decreased by 2.3 %. The addition of P resulted in a decrease in coercivity. Furthermore, the 0.1P steel had superior magnetic properties compared to P-free steel with yield strength and tensile strength of 581 MPa (increase of 8.1 %) and 692 MPa (increase of 7.8 %). Thus, it is underscored that the addition of 0.1 wt% P to 4.5 wt% Si steel can simultaneously improve both magnetic properties and mechanical properties.
