摘要
•Glass forming ability and crystallization kinetics of amorphous Al alloy were studied.•High mechanical properties were achieved by rapid solidification and hot pressing.•First crystallization stage was controlled by a three-dimensional diffusion mechanism.•Al nanocrystals formed during primary crystallization enhance hardness to ∼377.9 Hv.
