摘要

•Radiation-coupled simulation of a turbulent jet is reported focusing on the performances of PN and DOM.•PN is tested up to the order of 7; DOM is tested up to 8×8 discrete angles.•The convergence mechanisms of PN and DOM with respect to the angular approximation is studied in a 1-D slab with a wide range of optical thicknesses.
