Micro-nano structure constructed AA7055 superhydrophobic surface with long service life and high corrosion resistance

In this article, a high corrosion-resistant and environmentally stable superhydrophobic layer was fabricated on the surface of 7055 aluminum alloy using surface silanization and constructing a secondary micro-nano structure with polytetrafluoroethylene and SiO2 nanoparticles on the polydimethylsiloxane surface. The sprayed nanoparticles on the low-energy surface layer can form a micro-nano secondary structure, resulting in a superhydrophobic layer with excellent hydrophobic properties and long-lasting stability. The superhydrophobic layer not only has good hydrophobicity, but also has good corrosion resistance, wear resistance and antiicing performance, the corresponding mechanisms were discussed.
