摘要
Hyperons provide crucial information on the hadron structure and low-energy quantum chromodynamics. Since the first hyperon was observed in 1950, they have been studied through several experimental methods. A method with nonleptonic decays of charmed baryons has started to play an important role in searching for new hyperons. It is based on data samples collected through high-energy collider experiments such as Belle, Belle II, LHCb, and BES III. An experimental method with K^-p reactions is the most well-known method for hyperon spectroscopy. There are new K^- beam experiments to search for exotic hyperons at the Japan Proton Accelerator Complex (J-PARC), which can deliver a K^- beam with high intensity and purity. This is a review article of recent results and prospects of these two experimental methods for hyperons.
