Electro-magnetic sensor mediated by magnetic biomolecules

摘要
This report presents a magnetic-electrical sensor based on a gold side-gate electrode Graphene field effect transistor and mediated by magnetic biomolecules. The magnetic sensitive protein act as a key part in the animal's precise perception of the geomagnetic field. In our work, this magnetic biomolecule is coupled to a biocompatible interface, which is made in a sample and low-casts way. The spatial conformation of the magnetic biomolecules is altered by the magnetic field, in addition affects the scattering on electric charges while in motion. And then convert the magnetic signals to electrical signals. The sensor promises to be a new type magnetic field detecting method as it reacts rapidly to varying magnetic field.
