Significantly more HCPs and patients had negative reactions to atypical antipsychotic nomenclature compared with mood stabilizer nomenclature for treating bipolar disorder. The broad descriptive atypical antipsychotic class name may not support the standard of care for the treatment of bipolar disorder.
