Abstract
Highlights A multiple-crosslinked poly(2-(methacryloyloxy)ethyl)dimethyl-(3-sulfopropyl)ammonium hydroxide-co-acrylamide multifunctional hydrogel was prepared via a one-pot synthesis method. The proposed hydrogel exhibits water retention, antifreeze properties, self-healing, and transparency as well as improved strength, good adhesiveness, and a high gauge factor.
