Abstract
The effects of electromagnetic fields on human organisms are now a popular area of research in numerous research centers around the world. The article deals with the subject of the empirical assessment of the impact of electromagnetic field phenomena on a welder performing welding works in the method SMAW. The research was carried out with a view to reproducing the conditions in which welders - assemblers work. It is estimated that among the arc welding methods, more than half of the world washes are made with this method. Measurements of the electrical and magnetic components of the electromagnetic field to which the welder's inclined head and organs inside the chest are exposed were carried out. The EMC measurements were repeated for the polarization of DCEP and DCEN. Respecting the stochastic nature of the results, they were subjected to statistical analysis and compared to the currently binding norms contained in law regulations.
