Influence of the Surface Layer Morphology of SiSiC Ceramics on the Tribological Characteristics of a Hybrid Friction Couple

摘要
The regularities of tribological characteristic changes in a hybrid steel – SiSiC ceramic friction couple during the transformation of ceramic surface morphology are established. The ground surface morphology was found to substantially affect the tribological characteristics of a steel – SiSiC ceramic friction couple. The intensification of the grinding mode is shown to increase the tangential force and friction coefficient, the friction track width, the sticking area, and the width of the wear area.
