Study on factors influencing mechanical properties of energy absorbers for hydraulic support in rockburst roadway

Abstract
The parameter design of energy absorbers for hydraulic support in rockburst roadways is very important in the field of rockburst prevention. Therefore, for the constant resistance energy absorbers, the influence of the thickness and material of the thin-walled cylinder and the die taper angle of the compression mold on the mechanical properties of the energy absorber was theoretically and numerically analyzed, using ABAQUS finite element software. The deformation diagram and carrying capacity-displacement and energy absorption-displacement relationship curves of the energy absorber under the influence of three parameters are obtained. It shows that with the increase of the wall thickness of the thin-walled cylinder, the carrying capacity and the energy absorbed by the energy absorber increase. The wall thickness of the thin-walled cylinder has no effect on the deformation effect of the energy absorber and has a repeatable deformation mode. With the increase of material strength of thin-walled cylinder, the carrying capacity and absorbed energy of the energy absorber increase. The strength of thin-walled cylinder material has no effect on the deformation effect of energy absorber. With the increase of the die taper angle, the carrying capacity of the energy absorber decreases, and the die taper angle has little effect on the energy absorbed by the energy absorber. The die taper angle has no effect on the deformation effect of the energy absorber. The theoretical solution and numerical solution of the mechanical properties of constant resistance energy absorber are in good agreement, which provides a theoretical basis for the parameter design of energy absorber of mine pressure hydraulic support.
