Abstract
Kravets et al1 reported on a project comparing parents’ eating competence with their body mass index (BMI) and their child's BMI measured 6 months after the eating competence measure. Although we value research on eating competence and parent-feeding behavior, we cannot overlook our deep concerns with the research methods, data interpretations, and ethical practices of the authors in this paper.
