We thank the Journal of Nutrition Education and Behavior for the opportunity to clarify our use of the Satter Eating Competence Inventory (ecSI 2.0) in our article.1 The accompanying corrigendum provides details about its use and relevant references. We incorporated the instrument into our study protocol with good intentions and believe we secured permission to obtain it in 2017, although documentation of such cannot be located. We thank the letter writers for their interest in our work.
