Design and Fabrication of Nano-Sensors for Real Time Air Quality Monitoring

The focus of current research is on creating and perfecting nano-sensors for use in several nanotechnology disciplines. Nanomaterials are employed in every field, including health care, environmental monitoring, and government. Monitoring low concentrations of gases in complex gas mixtures may be accomplished using improved nano-sensing technologies, particularly nanostructured metal-oxide gas sensors. As a result, the main obstacles to their practical deployment in real-world applications are their poor conductivity and lack of selectivity at ambient temperature. In this paper, authors propose a novel combination of the array-structured based on micro-electromechanical systems (MEMS) processes on the Bi-directional sensor with Inter Digited Electrodes (IDE) fixing as a single chip model using PCB. Different gases (CH 4 , CO, CO 2 , NO 2 , SO 2 , O 2 ) in a single sensor with platinum-coated heater design for monitoring air ambient. These sensors high useful for real time data collection which will be useful for data analysis using machine learning algorithms.
