Abstract
In the paradigm of cognitive cities, it is very important that the interfaces of web and mobile applications adapt to any type of user that interacts with them. Likewise, HCI (Human computer interaction) is an area of study that seeks to improve the user experience when interacting with a computer. Therefore, the objective of this research was to develop a front-end framework that facilitates the creation and design of interfaces aimed at improving HCI. It contains inclusive options for people with color blindness or dyslexia and considers the aspects of organization and distribution of the elements in the interfaces. For the development of the framework called UTM-Bootstrap, the eXtreme Programming (XP) software development methodology was used. Next, with the help of a visual perception device (eye-tracking), the interfaces were evaluated to measure the effectiveness of the framework parameters and elements. The evaluation was based on the metrics: Total Fixation Duration and Average Fixation Duration. This allowed to determine the effectiveness of the interfaces when interacting with different types of users. Finally, the study culminated with user interfaces that are adaptable, intuitive and easy to use, reaching an efficient user experience.
