A new method of grid image perspective rectification

A new method of grid image perspective rectification is proposed for a certain kind of images such as DPIV image. In this method projective transformation is combined with multiquadric method (MQ).And the concept of virtual standard grid is proposed and aims to reduce the man-made error. The new method is compared with other three different methods including affine transformation, two-order polynomial transformation and three-order polynomial transformation. The experiment results confirm the effectiveness of the proposed method.
