摘要
Different IoT systems based on small devices, controllers and smart networks were developed in recent years. The need to transmit data as far as possible required the introduction of new types of networks that use specific communication protocols, such as LoRa (Long Range Wide Area) networks and the LoRaWan protocol. The power supplies needed for these networks are low power, which allows the use of autonomous power systems, charged from renewable energy sources. This study proposes the description of the power supply system of an IoT system consisting of two sensors networks. The two sensors networks collect the data in two communication nodes and then transmit them to an intermediate data server from where they are sent and recorded on a final server. This system was designed and developed in the laboratory. It uses a 30 W solar panel, a controller with outputs on 2 voltage levels (5 V DC, 12 V DC) and a battery at 12 V, 20 Ah capacity. The autonomy of the power supply system is computed nodes relation to the nodes consumption corresponding to the two sensors networks and to the forecast performance of the system given by the particularities of the location. The software of the IoT system controllers was adapted for optimal operation. The described system is a cheap one and ensures a total autonomy of operation of over six days.
