Abstract
Thermal damage in high geotemperature tunnels has become a hot topic in underground engineering. To study the effect of ventilation velocity and supply air temperature on the cooling of high geotemperature tunnels, the Nige tunnel was taken as the engineering background. The cooling effect of ventilation velocity and ventilation temperature on geotemperature tunnel was investigated using numerical simulation and field test. Results indicate that increasing the ventilation velocity can reduce the tunnel temperature. After the wind velocity reaches a certain value, the cooling effect of the wind velocity on the tunnel will be reduced. The lower the air temperature at the inlet of the duct, the better the cooling effect in the tunnel.
